Security Information
- Scan badge request form must be received at least 24 hrs. in advance of contractor arriving to begin work.
- Tool List form must be completed prior to arrival at job site, printed. Any tools brought onto site after tool list submitted to Security – must be added to their tool list on file or tools will be held by security when exiting the plant. This is both for company as well as personal tools.
- All credentials must be on person (not on their phone).
- Credentials are not to be cut, defaced, marked on, hole punched etc.
- Scan badge must be turned back to Security upon termination of employment or contractual services.
- Never do you loan or transfer a scan badge to another contractor.
- TWIC receipts are not recognized by Westlake PE&O, must have actual card in order to work – “not expired.”
- TWIC Card & Scan Badge – must both be worn while on company premises.

All contract employees entering the Westlake PE&O site will need the Westlake PE&O site orientation.
You will need to bring your TWIC and safety council card. Also, please make sure you arrive on time to you designated class. If you arrive after the start time you will have to reschedule for another class.
(Site orientation, Hole watch/ Fire watch orientation, Permit receiver orientation) All orientations are scheduled for 3 hours.
All contractor employees that are (Forman level or equivalent) that will oversee the job will be required to attend the Westlake PE&O permit receiver orientation before being issued a permit.
January 1st 2023 all contractors will be required to have a current permit receiver card before being issued a permit. Or hole watch/ fire watch task. Operations will verify when issuing a permit.
All contractor employees that will be performing the task of Hole watch or Fire watch at the Westlake PE&O site.
(Site orientation, Hole watch/ Fire watch orientation, Permit receiver orientation) All the Westlake PE&O orientation cards will be current from 1 year after completion of the course. The expiration date will be printed on the card.
(Site orientation, Hole watch/ Fire watch orientation, Permit receiver orientation) All Westlake PE&O orientations will be given at the Westlake PE&O orientation building located on the West side of South Boudoin Rd. just North of the Gate 2 contractor gate at the Petro site. (There is a sign next on the entry stating (Westlake Safety Orientation Building)
You can fill out the badge request form and security will have you badge at the contractors gate in 24-48 hours.

Orientations Offered Onsite:
Site Orientation
All contract employees entering on site for Petro, Poly, Terminal must have completed the onsite orientation.
Firewatch/ Holewatch
All contract employees that are performing the task of a holewatch or firewatch must have the Westlake Holewatch/ Firewatch orientation.
Permit Receiver Orientation
Before an employee can receive a permit they have must first have completed the Permit receiver orientation. A person receiving the permit must be a supervision employee (Forman level or above).

Tuesday: 12:30pm until 3pm -

Monday: 12:30pm until 3pm
Classes are currently limited to 25 people per orientation and employees need to be on time.
